Hands-On Learning
Children learn best by doing — and at Herd of Homesteaders, every day is an opportunity to explore, create, and discover through real-life experiences. From tending animals and planting gardens to baking bread and crafting handmade goods, our lessons bring learning to life through authentic, purposeful work.
Academic Enrichment
Our programs blend core academics with experiential education. Older students strengthen reading, writing, math, and science skills through project-based learning, while younger learners explore early literacy and numeracy through play, nature, and exploration. Every activity is designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding.
Nature & Community Connection
We believe learning extends beyond the classroom. Our days are spent outdoors, connecting with the land, animals, and one another. We spend time on our farm and connect with small businesses to give children meaningful, real-world experiences that teach responsibility, gratitude, and community stewardship.

Grow their creative confidence
Our enrichment classes are designed to spark curiosity, build creative confidence, and encourage hands-on discovery. Through guided exploration and imaginative learning experiences, children develop problem-solving skills that inspire lifelong confidence and creativity.
Collaborative Learning Experiences
Just like life on the homestead, learning here is a balance of independence and teamwork. Each activity encourages shared moments of curiosity, creativity, and connection as participants learn and grow together.
